Spain defender scores goal from halfway line

Spain U-21 defender, Inigo Martinez, was previously known for his back heeled own goal from a couple of weeks ago.

On Sunday he turned that perception around when he did an even more remarkable thing by  scoring from behind the halfway line. Real Madrid’s, Xabi Alonso, called this goal the best goal in the history of Real Sociedad’s Anoeta stadium. The goal equalized the Real Sociedad vs. Althetic Bilbao game, in which Bilbao eventually won 2-1. Impressive for a young gun! [H/T: Dirty Tackle]
