The Buffalo Sabres have been tweeting photos of pieces of their new third jersey for about a month now and Steve Ott was getting very impatient with the organization for not revealing the jersey.
Uncle, This is ridiculous! How about just releasing the jersey??? @BuffaloSabres

.@BuffaloSabres this jersey unveil is taking longer than a dinner invite from @Mike6Weber #Uncle

.@otterN9NE Steve, thanks again for your interest, but we have the only two jerseys and they're under lock and key. #FortKnox

Buffalo might want to reconsider what they think to be Fort Knox, because Ott got his hands on the third jersey and then started tweeting out photos of it. I’m inclined to believe that the Sabres organization let him do this, but at the same time, it ruined the event that they had planned for it.

I have pretty mixed feelings about the uniform. Part of me really likes that it is unique and has two different colors on the front and back, but at the same time it looks a lot like a practice jersey and gimmicky.
I definitely like the number color scheme they have, and the jersey would probably look better if it was all blue with some yellow on the sleeves. Either way, the public perception of this jersey is not going to be positive.
