17-year-old Sam Tageson was born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome, which means he only has two valves instead of four. On Tuesday, the San Jose Sharks helped Tageson realize his dream and signed him to a one-day contract. Tageson was able to skate with the team in practice, skate through the Shark head (the first non-player to do so), and was announced over the PA system. Truly a very special moment and a job well done by the Sharks.
