In one of the classiest moves of the year, the St. Louis Blues will wear Musial #6 jerseys for warmups before their game against the Minnesota Wild to honor St. Louis Cardinals Hall of Famer Stan “The Man” Musial. Musial died on January 19th, and was a three-time NL MVP and a seven-time batting champion. The Blues also took out a full-page ad in the St. Louis-Post Dispatch to honor Musial.
After the game, the jerseys will be signed by each player and then auctioned off. The money will benefit Cardinals Care and St. Louis Blues 14 Fund.
