After honoring Jack Pinto with a message on his cleats and gloves for him, Giants WR Victor Cruz stepped it up a notch and went to Newton, Connecticut to visit Pinto’s family. Hearing that Jack Pinto was such a huge fan made Cruz want to reach out to the family and he brought them his shoes and gloves that he wore during the game on Sunday.

Cruz has set a perfect example for other athlete’s and hopefully more of them will reach out to the families that are going through these troubled times. It doesn’t make what happened any easier, but it can provide the families with an escape and some comfort.
