The LA Chargers fired head coach Anthony Lynn earlier today.
Chargers fired Anthony Lynn this morning, per source. Two seasons ago, Lynn led the Chargers to a 12-4 record, then this year they finished 7-9, winning their last four games, giving him a 33-31 record in LA.
Chargers now become the sixth NFL team to have a head coach opening.

There have been rumblings that the Chargers job is the one Harbaugh could have been waiting for, as his wife is from the California area and they have a home there. Toledo reporter Jordan Strack says Harbaugh has been actively searching for an NFL job.
A source tells me Jim Harbaugh has been actively working to find a NFL job. That has been the #1 thing holding him up on him signing an extension at Michigan.
This isn’t exactly the most shocking news, but his desire right now is certainly to return to the NFL.
