ESPN’s annual ESPYs was on Wednesday night. At the Tuesday night ‘PreParty”, Nokia had some notable athletes send out tweets, presumedly as PR moves.
DeSean Jackson’s tweet, which was later deleted but captured by USA today, is the best of the bunch.
Someone should probably give Jackson a lesson or two about tweeting before he promotes anymore events. He did a nice job of hitting copy and paste, but I doubt that’s what Nokia intended for Mr. Jackson to say.
Jackson was not alone in the failed tweets; three more NFL players left the quotation marks in their copied tweets.
