San Francisco 49ers linebacker Navorro Bowman saved the day after the Atlanta Falcons recovered an onside kick. Falcons wide receiver Harry Douglas couldn’t hold onto the ball and Bowman made an extremely athletic play to pick off the ball and return it to the end zone for six. This pick-six clinched the 49ers spot in the playoffs and will go down as the final touchdown ever scored in Candlestick Park.
The Cardinals Twitter account reacted to the Cardinals playoff hopes dwindling by quite a bit following the pick-six.
