ESPN’s Merril Hoge is not one to shy away from dropping the “Bust” label around potential draft picks. He said it about Texas A&M’s Johnny Manziel just a few days ago, now he’s basically saying the same thing about South Carolina’s Jadeveon Clowney. Hoge said he would take Michael Sam over Jadeveon Clowney on ESPN’s First Take on Friday morning:
Clowney is pegged by many as the best defensive player in the draft, and possibly the best overall player as well. Meanwhile, Sam is projected to go somewhere in the third-round. Hoge may be all alone with this one.
