Jamaal Charles made the Pro Bowl for the second straight year in 2013 and rushed for 1,287 yards on 259, averaging a whopping 4.96 yards per carry. While Charles is one of the fastest and most agile running backs in the league, a lot of his success had to do with running behind LT Branden Albert, who left the team via free agency on Tuesday, signing a 5 year/$47 million contract with the Dolphins.
Needless to say, the RB was sad that his friend and lead blocker left the team and he took to Twitter to express his melancholiness. Here’s what he had to say:
Congrats @B_Albert76 I will miss you bro and blocking for me. I guess I will see u on the other side.

Though Albert has been in Kansas City since the 2008 season, Charles shouldn’t have a problem remaining one of the league’s top rushers.
