Cincinnati Bengals LB Vontaze Burfict is no stranger to controversy and those that follow college football will remember that because it caused him to drop like a rock in the draft. On Sunday, Burfict put himself back into the thick of controversy by very clearly twisting Cam Netwon’s ankle after he had scored a touchdown. There is no place in the game for stuff like this and I hope that Burfict is fined and suspended. Trying to purposefully injure your opponent to gain a competitive advantage is disgusting.
