Warriors GM Bob Myers announced in a radio interview Friday afternoon that the team has reached out to sharp-shooting free-agent Ray Allen.
GM Bob Myers told 95.7 The Game the Warriors did reach out to Ray Allen's representatives. "It's uncertain as to what Ray wants to do."

Bob Myers to 95.7 on Ray Allen possibility: "Here's the problem: We dont have enough minutes as it is so it's just a question of chemistry."

Chemistry or not, adding a Hall of Fame shooter to a team that already consists of Steph Curry and Klay Thompson would be a sight to see. Allen has been linked to several other contending teams, including the Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers.
ESPN’s Ryen Russillo notes that he thinks the Cavs are the front-runners for Allen’s services, and the 39-year-old will wait until January to make a decision:
Hearing Ray Allen is telling teams "talk to me in January" will make a decision in February. Cavs still the favorite.
