Wade, 34, averaged 19 ppg., 4.6 apg and 4.1 rpg. last year. The 13-year NBA pro has spent his entire career in Miami. Wade signed a two-year, $47 million dollar deal with Chicago.
Here’s what Wade said about Chicago back in 2010 when he previously was a free agent:
“I’m a Chicago guy and I grew up idolizing the Chicago Bulls, idolizing Michael Jordan and wanted to wear that jersey. So the day I went for the Chicago visit and they gave me the No. 3 jersey, I mean, that day messed me up. I went back home and I had the jersey on and, I mean, I turned into a kid again.”
Will be interesting to see how Wade meshes with recently signed Rajon Rondo and Jimmy Butler.
