The Detroit Pistons are off to an awful 5-and-20 start with new coach Stan Van Gundy. Detroit is looking to shake up its roster, and likely will start with Greg Monroe, who will be a unrestricted free-agent this summer. According to Sporting News, as a starting point,the Pistons want a first-round pick for any deal involving the 24-year-old center.
Although SVG denied that the team wants to trade Monroe, several teams have already been mentioned as possible trade options including the Boston Celtics and Phoenix Suns. A team like the Cavaliers, still looking for another solid big, could be an option as well for a career 14 ppg and 9 rpg player.
