While it was initially believed that Ray Allen would sit out until the NBA All Star game and then pick a team to play for, word now is that it’s possible that the 39-year-old sharp-shooter may end up sitting out the entire 2014-15 season.
Basketball Insider’s Alex Kennedy reports that Allen may be leaning toward staying retired instead of signing with either the Cleveland Cavaliers, Washington Wizards, Chicago Bulls, San Antonio Spurs or Golden State Warriors.
Ray Allen is enjoying spending time with his family and golfing a lot, as well as being on his own schedule (for first time in a long time).

I'm told Ray Allen is no closer to making a decision. As I said last week in a @BR_NBA video, it seems he's leaning toward not playing.

One of the most prolific shooters in NBA history, Allen has averaged nearly 19 points a game during his 18-year-career.
