Yesterday’s report that Ray Allen had signed with the Cleveland Cavaliers are untrue. According to Marc Stein, Allen’s agent, Jim Tanner, says nothing is official between Allen and the Cavs.

My guess is that the 39-year-old shooting guard will wait until at least the start of the season to decide whether or not to suit up with his former teammates – LeBron James, Mike Miller and James Jones – in Cleveland.
