6. John Wall, Washington Wizards
John Wall gets to edge out Lillard because of last season’s performance in the playoffs. Always been a great offensive talent, Wall averaged 19.3 ppg, while also finishing second in the NBA in assists/game at 8.8.
5. Derrick Rose, Chicago Bulls
The 2012 NBA MVP, there’s little doubt about Derrick Rose’s abilities. Rose has been dealing with an ankle sprain so far this season, yet still averages over 15 points/game and 5 assists/game.
4. Kyrie Irving, Cleveland Cavaliers
Although Kyrie Irving has never made it to the NBA Playoffs with the Cavaliers, that streak will likely end with the additions of LeBron James and Kevin Love. Last season, Kyrie averaged 20.8 ppg., and 6 assists. He has raised his points/game average this season, but assists/game have dropped.
