CBSSports is reporting that the Kings have put rookie SG Nik Stauskas on the trading block in order to find some front-court help.
The Kings want to pair Cousins with a frontline player who would fit with his post-up skills — either a stretch four or above-the-rim defender, sources said. They’ve fielded numerous calls about Stauskas, whose opportunities have been limited with the steadily improving play of Ben McLemore.

Stauskas, the No.8 pick in the 2014 Draft, has seen the court very little during his rookie season in Sacramento, averaging just 3.6 ppg while shooting only 27% from the three-point line.
The Pistons’ Greg Monroe, who will be an unrestricted free agent at the end of the year, could be an option in return for Stauskas. Back in July of 2014, Detroit and Sacramento had nearly worked out a trade that would have shipped Josh Smith to the Kings.
