Following the Boston Celtics 92-79 win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday, Kevin Garnett was upset that his rebound streak, that began in 1997, was snapped.
When asked about the last time he didn’t get a rebound by a reporter following the game Garnett responded, “I’m looking for the statistician around here. When I find out what he looks like, we might have some problems. I had a rebound in the first quarter! That’s bullshit man! Naw that’s fucking bullshit man! I had a rebound in the first half!”
It’s nice to know that Garnett still cares about his play. Garnett played 15 seasons with at least one rebound each game. Hopes are that the statistician or whoever “that bullshit man is” will find that one rebound that Garnett actually did get.
