While the Trail Blazers’ LaMarcus Aldridge has already been linked as a potential target for the Chicago Bulls, DeAndre Jordan, another soon-to-be free-agent center, could be another option. With new head coach Fred Hoiberg likely looking to shake things up roster-wise, could the Bulls look to make a deal for Jordan?
Here’s what NBA.com’s Sam Smith had to say about a potential Jordan-Bulls match:
The Clippers need to make some major personnel moves, but primarily at shooting guard and small forward, where they are probably the least athletic and least talented in the West. Though I expect the Bulls will listen and rumors will come up, you’re not getting a big man for an injured Noah with one year left on his deal and because of Noah’s situation and Pau’s age and Mirotic’s inexperience, it strikes me you are not about to risk giving up Gibson with his front court versatility.
Jordan averaged 11.5 points, 15 rebounds and 2.2 blocks last year for the Clippers.
