Chris Kaman hasn’t exactly had what one would call a successful season with the Lakers. Earlier this year, Kaman famously was seen lying down on the bench during a game against the Cavs in which Los Angeles had to take a technical to keep Robert Sacre in the game after he fouled out. He also apparently hasn’t spoken with coach Mike D’Antoni in three weeks due to the reduced and erratic playing time that he’s received lately.
On Thursday night, the Lakers were playing the Bucks in Milwaukee. However, Kaman did not travel with the team, staying back in LA due to personal reasons. He cut it a little close getting to the BMO Harris Bradley Center, arriving ten minutes before game time. Somehow though, D’Antoni still gave him the start.
