Charles Barkley said Derrick Rose was stupid for sitting out games to protect his career after basketball. On Thursday’s Inside The NBA show, Barkley announced that Rose’s comments were ‘stupid’.
“Derrick Rose is making $20 million a year. He’s got a couple of bad knees. That’s disrespectful to maids, people who are in the army who go out and kill people and get killed. They got no arms and no legs.
“As much as I like Derrick Rose, that is just flat-out stupid,” said Barkley.
Rose wound up injuring his hamstring and sitting out the final minutes of the Bulls’ win over the Raptors.
