Nate Robinson could be receiving a phone call from the Bulls’ front-office after news that Derrick Rose will need surgery on his meniscus and could miss the remainder of the season. Robinson, who hasn’t played since being bought out earlier this season by the Boston Celtics, was averaging 5.8 points and 2.3 assists in 33 games this year.

Robinson, 30, played for Chicago during the 2012-13 season, where the point-guard averaged 13 ppg. while playing off the bench. With only Aaron Brooks and Kirk Hinrich as the only point guards on the Bulls the roster after Rose’s injury, would Chicago be smart looking into getting Robinson back in the fold? It certainly couldn’t hurt.
Hardly a surprise, but I'm told Nate Robinson would have interest in signing with the Bulls as they look for help without Derrick Rose.
