It’s safe to say that there was a lot going on during this play. Detroit Tigers outfielder Torii Hunter stroked a ball into the outfield and was looking to turn it into a double when he slid into second. At first it looked as though he was out, but the Tigers challenged the call and the out call was overturned.
As you can see in the GIF, thanks to @corkgaines, Hunter was safe just before getting tagged right in the junk. Yasiel Puig, who made an unbelievable throw to get the ball there, responded to the overturned call with a Dikembe Mutombo finger wag.
