Tigers Acquire Joakim Soria From Rangers For Pitching Prospects

The Detroit Tigers have acquired some much needed depth to their bullpen in the Texas Rangers’ closer Joakim Soria. Soria, a former Kansas City Royal, has 17 saves on the season for the Rangers. Texas in return is getting two of Detroit’s top prospects in Jake Thompson and Corey Knebel.
