San Diego Padres Ball Girl Makes Incredible Catch on Opening Night

San Diego won its first game of the season on Opening Night against the Dodgers, but the Padres’ players weren’t the only ones who showed out in the 3-1 victory. In the bottom of the eighth inning, Yonder Alonso hit a line drive foul towards the first base line; however, instead of the ball hitting a fan, the ball girl caught it.

The play was certainly an unorthodox Web Gem.
