Monday night’s 2-1 Tampa Bay Rays victory over the Boston Red Sox game was filled with controversy and bad blood. In the video below you can see the blown call that got Red Sox manager John Farrell tossed from the game.
Twitter accounts for the Red Sox and Rays took it a step further following the game. The Rays took the first jab saying that the Green Monster standing needed to be updated with Tampa Bay taking the .5 game lead over Boston in the AL East.
Dear @RedSox scoreboard operator – your standings are wrong. Yours truly, @RaysBaseball.

Boston responded by pointing to Tampa Bay’s 29th ranked home average attendance.
Don't worry @raysbaseball we look forward to seeing you in Tampa in September for our home games at the Trop.

Boom. This one goes to Boston. The two next meet September 9th at Tropicana Field.
