The Boston Red Sox evened up the World Series after Sunday night’s 4-2 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals after a walk-off pick off. With Carlos Beltran at the plate, Red Sox closer Koji Uehara picked off pinch-runner Kolten Wong with two outs in the bottom of the 9th inning.
Not surprisingly, this is the first ever postseason game to end on a pick off. Here’s a GIF of FOX showing a blonde Cardinals fan in the stands and completely missing the play.

Just a brutal way to go down and a fittingly bizarre way to end a game after Game 3’s walk-off obstruction call. Game 5 is Monday in St. Louis.
