The Miami Marlins’ Giancarlo Stanton took a pitch to the face yesterday, causing a tooth to end up inside his cheek and all but ending his amazing 2014 season. Several MLB players, including Stanton’s teammates, the pitcher Mike Fiers Bryce Harper and Jimmy Rollins, tweeted their support for a comeback from Stanton next year.
