Injured New York Mets pitcher Matt Harvey got a box at Yankees Stadium so he could watch Derek Jeter’s last game at Yankee Stadium and this has obviously caused a stir among Mets’ fans. Obviously, it wasn’t his attention to offend anyone, he merely wanted to watch his childhood hero play his last game at Yankee Stadium.
He wasn’t exactly hiding at Yankee Stadium, since he’s been shut down for the season after spending it rehabbing his elbow from Tommy John ligament replacement surgery.
A few fans were rational…most were not.

Matt Harvey is a knuckle head. The #Mets will trade him for Giancarlo straight up. Should not be seen at #YankeeStadium in stands Ever!

Seriously there is no good reason why Matt Harvey should be at the Yankees game tonight. He should be with his team the Mets! #CLOWNAGE

Matt Harvey is at Yankee Stadium. Yankees fans: "He's a future Yankee!" Mets fans: "Traitor!"

Matt Harvey could've at least worn a Mets hat to the game tonight.
