Nike has struggled mightily to create Olympic Hockey uniforms for teams. USA, Canada and Russia have terrible uniforms and Sweden told Nike they didn’t want their designs. But, after some serious failure early on, Nike has finally hit the nail on the head with these gorgeous uniforms for Slovakia.

I can say that Nike still gave these uniforms the horrific fake lacing, which is a trend that needs to be stopped immediately. I’m not sure who came up with this idea, but they need to be fired immediately. Meanwhile, the person that decided having the Slovakian National Anthem act as stripes on the uniforms deserves a major raise. This is easily one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen on a uniform.
