The Florida Everblades of the ECHL unveiled a special jersey they will wear this weekend in honor of the Olympics. The uniform was designed by kids at the Golisano Children’s Hospital and feature special drawings down by the waist from the kids.
Following their game on Friday night, the Everblades are having a “paint the ice night,” copying the Stockton Thunder. Then on Saturday, the jerseys will be auctioned off with the proceeds going to the Lee Memorial Health System Foundation. The jerseys look great and they’re for an even better cause, so this is a truly phenomenal idea from the Everblades.
