First Take started off on Monday with an apology from Stephen A. Smith after his comments on Friday were a bit out of line, to say the least. ESPN’s Michelle Beadle was very outspoken against it and ESPN knew they had to do something. At first Stephen A. Smith tweeted out an apology, but that didn’t make things better because it wasn’t exactly an apology and so they had him apologize on air to save face. Obviously, some people weren’t pleased with the on-air apology.
First Take follows the Stephen A. Smith apology (no apology to his co-workers btw) with Skip Bayless crushing LeBron James.

So a 3 minute segment featuring a taped apology from Stephen A Smith and thoughts from Cari Champion. Then straight to LeBron James.

No, I’m not watching Stephen A Smith’s apology. If it were anything more than a ratings grab it would have been done already.
