This is a huge blow to USC’s chances for an upset, and should have Notre Dame fan’s brimming with confidence. It looks as thought Notre Dame will be all but guaranteed a spot in the National Championship game now. Why is Barkley out, you ask? The hit he took at the end of their game against UCLA sprained his throwing shoulder and he was spotted wearing a sling when he left the stadium.
