UM Not Forcing Football Players To Sign Waivers, Like Ohio State Is With Covid 19

Michigan Athletic Director Warde Manuel spoke with media about the team’s new policy of testing players and coaching staff for Covid-19, and shared that two athletes have tested positive:

Manuel says there’s a policy for student-athletes If a s-a disregards Policies (wearing a mask etc) Will be treated like breaking a team rule Reiterates won’t have them sign a pledge or waiver

As noted earlier, Ohio State forced its players to sign a waiver before starting practice.
