Tyrone Wheatley is returning home. After interviewing with coach Harbaugh this week, the Inkster, Michigan native has accepted the running backs position, according to John U. Bacon.
Not exactly breaking news, but inside sources say UM's Jim Harbaugh hiring Ty Wheatley to coach RBs is a lock. Staff almost complete.

Wheatley a former RB’s coach of Syracuse and the Buffalo Bills, currently is fifth on UofM’s all-time rushing list (4,178 yards). His son, Tyrone Wheatley Jr., a 4-star TE/DE, is reportedly a lock to follow his dad to Michigan as well.
