The NCAA Overturned A Ridiculous Hit By An ECU Player On JJ McCarthy

Jack Powers was ejected from Saturday’s Michigan – ECU game after this head-to-head hit with JJ McCarthy. After the NCAA reviewed the hit, however, it was determined that Powers did not launch at McCarthy and it was not targetting. As a result, he will not be suspended for ECU’s next game:

ECU sent this in and somehow the NCAA overturned this call yesterday and #5 will not be suspended for the next half.
