Texas Tech Head Coach Tommy Tuberville has been on the hot seat this year, and he was visibly frustrated during their game against Kansas. I don’t blame him for being frustrated though, having to go to double overtime with a team that is 1-9 is absolutely terrible. He just might want to be careful with getting physical with some of his assistants in the future; that points to all sorts of legal trouble.
Here’s how Tubberville responded to the slap following the game:
“He was on the field, I reached to grab him and pull him off, and when I pulled I missed his shirt and I grabbed his facemask — or his microphone — and it just ripped off his head,” Tuberville said. “I was trying to get him off the field.”
