Now ranked as the No. 1 player in the transfer portal, Caleb Downs, a former freshman All-American safety for Alabama, is going to be greatly pursued. However, it sounds like one program, Georgia, where former Crimson Tide safety coach Travaris Robinson is now coaching, is the favorite:

Ohio State, which lost out to Alabama originally in high school, is also believed to be in contention for Downs:
Caleb Downs led Alabama in tackles this season with 107 and had two interceptions. Big loss for the Crimson Tide, Downs has three years of eligibility remaining.
With Travaris Robinson at Georgia, the Dawgs have a good shot here.
