Former Ohio State starting QB Kyle McCord, following visits to Nebraska and Syracuse, is believed to be making a decision. McCord will be playing for the Cuse and new coach Fran Brown, who was hired from Georgia’s staff, Syracuse columnist Brent Axe reports:
SOURCES: Ohio State QB Kyle McCord will commit to Syracuse out of the transfer portal. An official announcement could come as soon as Sunday. https://t.co/cYT6zKvH3Y

The reported reason for McCord leaving Columbus:
Ohio State quarterback Kyle McCord left the Buckeyes because he wasn’t promised the starting role, and he wanted more in NIL money, which Ohio State was not willing to facilitate.
It is clear the relationship between the McCord camp and Ryan Day was not mendable. pic.twitter.com/bYBfYMLoqt
