With the Washington Commanders recently hiring Dan Quinn to be their next coach, Eric Bieniemy, the former Chiefs OC, was let go recently. One name that is apparently being brough up as a potential option to head out to the Nation’s Capital is Brian Griese, who is the 49ers QB coach:

Griese, who helped Michigan to the ’97 National Championship, had been working in the broadcast booth before heading to the NFL.
Griese has certainly helped Brock Purdy go from Mr. Irrelevant to one of the best QBs in the league.
Via The Athletic article:
Brian Griese, 49ers QB coach: The former NFL passer went from the broadcast booth to coaching Brock Purdy the past two seasons. Purdy’s rise from the draft’s “Mr. Irrevelant” pick to a borderline MVP candidate says plenty about the quarterback’s overlooked talent and Kyle Shanahan’s offensive system, but Griese’s involvement is considered notable.
