Michigan State will not only be without star DT Malik McDowell, who will enter the NFL Draft after three seasons in East Lansing, but Sean Scherer of 247sports is reporting that safety Montae Nicholson is expected to declare early.

Nicholson, who is WalterFootball’s No. 11 ranked junior safety, finished the 2016 season with 86 tackles and an interception.
