Florida is currently prohibited from taking graduate transfers in football as a result of failure to ensure that graduate transfers Mason Halter and Anthony Harrell made academic progress in their lone year with the Gators in 2015.
If Zaire is indeed headed to Gainsville, he is expected to compete with Felepie Franks and Luke Del Rio for the Gators starting QB job next year.
Michigan and Florida kickoff their 2017 seasons in Dallas on September 2nd.
