Phil Steele put out his preseason projections for every college football bowl game in the upcoming season. The college football insider has two top 10 teams – Michigan and Miami – making the Peach Bowl. Here’s what 247sports wrote about the potential matchup:
Ranked inside the Top 10 in every preseason poll thus far, the Wolverines have a roster deep enough to make Playoff noise, but the schedule is too worrisome. Michigan could be very good and still finish with two losses, missing out on the Big Ten title game with another tough-to-stomach loss to Ohio State. It’ll be interesting to see what the Hurricanes and Mark Richt have in terms of an encore following last season’s late fall from grace. Miami had the Playoff in its crosshairs prior to an upset loss to Pitt and failing to show up vs. Clemson in the ACC final.
