Is Penn State Adding Numbers To Their Football Helmets?

Penn State freshman running back Nick Scott posted a photo of his helmet with numbers on the side on Instagram and it obviously sent Nittany Lions fans into a frenzy and speculating whether or not this will be a permanent change. It’s not the first time that the Nittany Lions have had numbers on their helmets though. Here’s a look at the helmet they wore from 1968-1974:

It’s a change, but I like the look a lot.
