“A” mountain is a sacred spot for Arizona State fans, and on the morning before their Thursday night game against Oregon, ASU fans and students woke up to see their normally gold “A” painted green.
The ASU “A” is located on the top part of a 1,500 foot land mass, and would not have been easy to get to. The students did not take the prank lightly, and many of them worked together to get the A “fixed,” and ended up painting it black.
The “A” has been there since 1955, and the Sun Devils will look to exact their revenge tonight. Unfortunately for them, they’re going up against one of the best offenses in the country.
