No, this is not a joke. Oklahoma self-reported NCAA violations of three players eating too much pasta at a banquet. In order to be reinstated, the three players had to pay $3.83 to a charity. How they determined that $3.83 is beyond me and seems completely worthless and arbitrary. A story like this does more harm than good for the NCAA.
