The best running back in the country packs quite a wallop and like Miller, when healthy will flourish in his offensive system. Keith Marshall could impact his numbers, but Gurley is far too impressive of a runner to not get the majority of the carries for the Bulldogs. He’s a tough, physical runner that can catch the ball out of the backfield. Oh and did I mention he’s 6’1″ 232 lbs? Gurley should be a shoo-in for an invite to New York.
3. Bryce Petty, QB, Baylor
Aside from the abomination that was the Fiesta Bowl, the Baylor Bears were a force on offense. They set an NCAA record 52.4 points per game last year and with Petty back, they have a shot at doing it again. The Bears may have lost Lache Seastrunk to the NFL, but wide receiver Antwaan Goodley gives Petty a ridiculous mismatch on the outside. Expect more big numbers from Petty, who threw for 4,200 yards last year and only 3 interceptions last year.
