Northern Illinois unveils new jerseys for the Orange Bowl

This is probably the least surprising team to unveil a special jersey this bowl season.  Northern Illinois going to their first BCS bowl game ever?  This one was pretty much a gimme.

Honestly, I think these look great.  The dark red facemask looks outstanding, and so do the red pants.  Not to mention the numbers on the uniforms look crisp.  This is the way that special jerseys are supposed to be done; well thought out and well-executed.  The players were ecstatic to receive them too.
