West Virginia was looking at Michigan RB coach Mike Hart for the head coaching position but the former Wolverine tailback turned it down:
Michigan assistant coach Mike Hart did interview for the WMU head-coaching job following the Big Ten championship game, though it would appear he’ll be staying at UM. He’s the only UM staffer known to have interviewed for WMU. OC Sherrone Moore was on wish list, but said no.

Update:
I see the WMU search down to three finalists: Cincy OC Gino Guidugli, Louisville OC Lance Taylor and West Virginia OC Graham Harrell — though Harrell could be up for North Texas. Things could change, of course, but I suspect one of those three could get the job relatively soon.
